Luma Pediatric Dental is a brand-new pediatric dental practice opening in Howell, NJ. We are building something special — a warm, light-filled, family-centered space where children feel safe, parents feel heard, and our team feels valued.

We are seeking a kind, hardworking, team-oriented Dental Assistant who genuinely cares about children and their families.

This is an opportunity to be a founding team member and grow alongside a startup practice with a long-term vision.

Pediatric experience is a plus — but not required. We are happy to train the right person who demonstrates strong character, work ethic, and a genuine love for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Chairside assisting during pediatric procedures
• Taking radiographs
• Patient charting/notes
• Sterilization and infection control
• Preparing and turning over operatories
• Supporting efficient patient flow
• Helping create a welcoming, positive experience for children

Schedule & Growth

• Part-time to start (as we build the practice)
• Opportunity to transition into full-time as the practice expands
• We are seeking someone excited to grow with a startup and become part of the long-term foundation team

Compensation & Development

• Competitive hourly pay: $20–$30 per hour, based on experience
• Paid training
• Performance-based raises as the practice grows
